Terms of Service

Last updated: February 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Empire Fire Services website (empirefireservices.com) and the fire safety services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

Empire Fire Services provides fire extinguisher inspection, recharging, emergency light testing, fire safety plan compliance, kitchen fire suppression, and related fire safety services in New York City. All services are performed by certified technicians in accordance with NFPA 10 and FDNY standards.

Estimates and Pricing

Free estimates provided through our website or by phone are non-binding and based on information provided by the customer. Final pricing is confirmed after on-site assessment and may vary based on actual conditions including number of extinguishers, building size, access difficulty, and scope of services needed.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if site conditions differ materially from what was described during the estimate process.

Scheduling and Access

Customers are responsible for providing access to all areas requiring service at the scheduled time. If our crew arrives and cannot access the work area, a trip charge may apply. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Invoices not paid within 30 days may be subject to a late fee.

Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with our inspection or service, contact us within 48 hours and we will return to address any concerns at no additional charge.

Compliance Documentation

Upon completion of service, we provide FDNY-compliant inspection tags, digital inspection reports, and compliance documentation for your records. These documents are intended to support your fire safety compliance but do not constitute a guarantee of passing any specific inspection.

Limitation of Liability

Empire Fire Services is licensed, bonded, and insured with $2,000,000 in general liability coverage. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, equipment malfunction unrelated to our work, or conditions beyond our control. We are not responsible for any business losses, lost revenue, or consequential damages.
